Part-time instructor in the English for Specific Purposes department at Augsburg University

The University of Augsburg Language Center expects to have an opening for a part-time instructor in its English for Specific Purposes department as of March 15, 2010, at the earliest.

We are looking for a native speaker of English with a master's degree as well as TEFL qualifications and experience who is capable of teaching academic writing, presentation, negotiation and intercultural communication to advanced learners of English.

Teaching commences April 26. The contract will end on September 30, 2011.

The teaching load will be nine contact hours (45 minutes) per week, and the work also includes the development of course materials, the preparation and correction of examinations, and some administrative duties. This is a salaried position. The pay scale is based on the German public-service labor contract (13 TV-L).
