Lexis In Meetings And Negotiations

Time: 3 hours, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Location: Gasteig, Rm 3.140

This hands-on workshop focuses on business lexis in meetings and negotiations. We will explore the technique of developing discourse from word partnerships as a way of helping students to prepare for meetings. There will be lots of practical methods and ideas as well as sample role plays to take away. The workshop will also include useful tips about further resources and materials.

Biodata
Diana Diodati-Konrad worked as a secondary school teacher in Sydney, Australia before moving to Europe in 1994. She holds a Cert. TEB and teaches business English and ESP courses to both pre- and in-work students. Diana currently works for the LMU, the Bavarian State Bank and occasionally teaches for Target.

John Sydes has been teaching business English in Munich since the mid-80s. He is the author and co-author of the Tech Talk series, OUP and The Business Pre-Intermediate, Macmillan. He has also been a trainer for the LCCI Certificate and Diploma in Teaching English for Business.
